【Voices from the participants】

・The lectures on the four themes were rich in content.

・The visit to the Hiroshima Information Symphony was a good opportunity to learn about the efforts for social inclusion.

・The program emphasized multicultural exchange.

・The lecture on special needs education was especially good.

・It was good to hear opinions from students with different nationalities. I wish there had been a bit more time for discussion.

・The content was very good. I hoped the program could have lasted longer.

・It was good to see the past and present of Hiroshima. It was tough to walk outdoors in the middle of summer.

・The balance between fieldwork and lectures was just right! I was able to make new discoveries by visiting different sites with international students.

・The final presentations were very impressive.

・I was able to deepen my understanding of the program themes because all the contents of the program led to the same final conclusions.

・This summer school was full of very high-value content.

・The content was very good. I thought it would be good to have an option for Hiroshima University students to stay at the hotel as well.

・I learned how to introduce things about my home town in English.

・I was glad to have been able to create new friendships.

・While everything about the program was great, ”Visualization of Pronunciation” was especially good.

・The lantern floating ceremony was impressive.  Also, it was a good opportunity to hear opinions of students from various countries and backgrounds.

・Many of the example cases presented during the summer school originated from the U.s. I wish there would’ve been more examples from Asia.

・I was really glad that I could participate. I wish there had been more time for continuing the discussions.

・The activities during lectures were very good. I wish there had been one full free day in the program.
