【Voices from the participants】

-I was very happy to have an indonesian buddy for each Japanese student, who taught me a lot of things as a local student. They did everything with me during my stay in Indonesia and nothing was too much trouble.
-I was able to understand the culture and lifestyle in Indonesia by visiting various regions of the country, and I think it was a very valuable experience. I am very glad that I participated. However, I think it would be a better study abroad program if the late-night transportation (airplanes and buses in Bali) could be improved.
-By visiting various facilities, I was able to learn about diversity. I also learned about the differences between Japan and Indonesia by having meals and doing activities with Indonesian students. These experiences were very valuable.
-I learned a lot by interacting with a variety of students in a space full of Indonesian diversity. I have been living in Indonesia with an awareness of culture, but this program was a particularly rewarding experience for me, as I had the opportunity to see dances from various regions of Indonesia and visit small villages to listen to stories about their culture. I think we should continue such programs that provide opportunities to experience various cultures in the future.
