COIL-type cooperative learning is the foundation of the four phases, and it is a required course for the short-term program to Indonesia and Thailand. In the second semester, under the theme of “Fostering Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in Shool,” a total of 54 participants (30 from HU and 24 from the five partner universities) will learn the basics of D&I and engage in student exchange. The program began on November 29 and it will continue for about two months until February 7. This three-hour class will be held every Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:10 p.m. for students in Japan and Korea, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:10 a.m. for Chinese students, and from 7:00 a.m. to 10:10 a.m. for Southeast Asian students.

This course will be taught by lecturers from the partner universities as well as HU lecturers on the updates and situations of D&I in each country.
