4 students from our partner universities in the CAMPUS ASIA program arrived in late September to attend HU’s second semeste starting on Oct. 3.
(Two from Indonesia Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia and two from Hankuk University of Foreign Studies. One student from Beijing Normal University is studying online.)
With the help of international student supporters from Hiroshima University, the students completed dormitory entrance procedures, course registration, resident registration, and national health insurance.
They are required to take two courses related to Diversity & Inclusion (D&I), the major theme of CAMPUS ASIA, and the rest of the courses are Japanese or lectures of personal interest.
On October 27, they are scheduled to participate in an event called “Study Abroad Week” at Hiroshima University.
We are also planning a field trip in November with students of HUSA (Hiroshima University Study Abroad Program) and Triangle Africa, who started their semester programs at the same time as the CAMPUS ASIA students.
